The energy was amazing! On November 29, 2025, the University of Brahmanbaria (UOB) hosted a huge success: the WordPress Campus Connect event. We brought together over 85 bright students for a full day of learning about WordPress—the tool that powers most of the internet!
Hi, I’m Azim Jamshed! I’m a BBA student here (batch 231) and a professional WordPress developer (Level 2 on Fiverr, Top Rated on Upwork). It was an absolute honor to help lead this event and see the excitement on my classmates’ faces as they started their digital journeys.
🚀 Our Simple Goal: From Zero to Digital Hero
Our main goal was simple: show everyone how easy and powerful WordPress is. We wanted to give students a clear plan to start a profitable career online.
| Time | What We Did |
| 8:30 AM | Venue Setup: Volunteers made sure everything was ready! |
| 9:00 AM | Opening Ceremony: A warm welcome and the start of our journey. |
| 9:30 AM | Open Source Session: Learning that WordPress is free and how we can all help make it better. |
| 10:00 AM | WordPress 101 Workshop: Hands-on! Students built their first websites—a huge milestone! |
| 12:00 PM | Lunch Break: Time to eat, network, and chat with the experts. |
| 12:30 PM | Origin & Contribution: Inspiring stories about how WordPress began and how students can join the global team. |
| 1:00 PM | Career Roadmap: A simple, step-by-step plan for getting a job using WordPress skills. |
| 2:00 PM | Closing & Group Photo: Thank you speeches and a great group picture! |
🔥 The Highlight: Building Our First Sites!
The most exciting part was the WordPress 101 Workshop. The energy was electric! Seeing students install WordPress, pick a design, and publish their first pages in just a few hours was incredible. This is the moment when learning turns into a real skill.
🎙️ The Experts Who Shared Their Secrets
We were so lucky to have top professionals share their time and knowledge. Thank you to these amazing speakers for inspiring our students:
- Shipon Karmakar
- Eh Jewel
- Tanvirul Haque
- Muhibul Haque

Their real-world advice made the path to a digital career feel very clear and achievable.
💖 Meet the Dream Team: Our Volunteers
A big shout-out to everyone who worked hard behind the scenes! This event wouldn’t have been so smooth without the dedication of our core Organizers, Shipon Karmakar and Tanvirul Haque.
As the Venue Management Volunteer, I saw firsthand how much effort the whole team put in. They are the true stars!
